He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Maddox and Evelyn "Dixie" Maddox; his sister Willene; his brothers-in-law, Tobe Kelley and Charles Rogers; his niece Charlotte Rogers; and his grandson Cody Maddox.
He is survived by: his wife Quennie Redmon Maddox; his sons, Stacey (Mary) of Panama City, FL, Kevin (Christine) of Dothan, AL, Jason (Cristina) of Pensacola, FL and Jonathan (Hallie) of Stapleton, AL; and his siblings, Tom Maddox (Alice) and Annette Rogers. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
