As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Sammie may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie White and Maybelle White; his daughters, Sharon Freeman and Sherry Caraway; and his siblings, Clarence White, Louise Bell and Annie Kate White.
He is survived by: his wife Christine White; and his children, Sammie DeWayne White (Barbara) of Pollard, Shannon Dale White of Flomaton and Megan Brown (J. J.) of Daphne. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flomaton Funeral Home (1811 W State Line Rd, Flomaton, AL 36441). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Flomaton Funeral Home (1811 W State Line Rd, Flomaton, AL 36441).
