He was predeceased by: his parents, Duron W. Knowles and Addie M. Hanscomb Knowles; and his brother Raymond Whitney. He is survived by: his children, Carla, Wendy, Angela, Thomas, Rachel and Steven. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
