He is survived by: his significant other Judy Alverzo; his children, Bo Benton (Danna), Derrick Benton (Chrissy), Jeremy Alverzo, Preston Sampley and Crystal Perkins; his grandchildren, Tyler Benton (Jessica), Timothy Benton, Destiny Pack, Julie Machak, Daquarion Alverzo, Dustin White and Oliver Styron; and his siblings, Joan Streit, Gail Cordeiro and Oneal Benton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
