He was predeceased by: his parents, Denver Chandler and Boncile Galloway Chandler; his wife Eva Jewel Smith Chandler; his sons, Terry Chandler and Tim Chandler; and his siblings, Dykes Chandler, Jerry Chandler and Jean Bragg.
He is survived by: his daughter Tonya Lee (Tim); his stepchildren, Joey Lister (Angel), Michelle Hammonds and Alisa Pierce (Kenny); and his daughter-in-law Melanie Chandler. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
