He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walker and Leoda Kagley Giles; and his siblings, Dorothy McAllister, JoAnn Kessler, Charles "Bucky" Giles and Larry Giles.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Collins Giles; his children, Jenni Veal (Matthew) and Jason Giles (Lisa); his grandchildren, Andrew "Bubba" Meadows, Brady Veal, Katelyn Pittman and Matthew Pittman; and his siblings, Nancy Humphrees (Dennis), Karen Smith (Cleve), Billy Giles and Mike Giles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
