With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy David Dobbins of Flat Rock, Alabama, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Dobbins and Rosteen Johnson Dobbins; his siblings, Betty Morris, Lloyd Dobbins and Glen Dobbins; and his stepdaughter Robyn Tinker.

He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Dobbins; his sister Joan Hixon (Jim); and his stepchildren, Kim Shrader (Bobby) and Keith Hawes (Tanya). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
