He was predeceased by: his wife Jo Nell Burns of Virginia; his son Shon Romans; and his parents, Elvis Burns and Martha Burns. He is survived by: his children, Melvin Romans (Barbara), Sandra Romans Welden (Leon), Heath Burns (Loretta), Dustin Romans (Amber) and Nicole Romans Hester (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Sam, Charlie, Nick, Travis and Laney; and his sister Margaret Burns Barron. He is also survived by 29 Great Grandchildren.
