He was predeceased by: his fathers, Edward R. Norton and Elmer E. Cooper Norton; his wife Alta Harris Norton; his sister Nelda Packard; his niece Melinda Norton; and his nephews, Huskey, Ronald Durham, Mike Hulgan, Eddie Plemons and David Frazier.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Norton and Lisa Schroepfer (Myron); his brothers, Ronald Norton and Donald Norton; his work son Mike Hulgan; and his grandchildren, Justin Scott, Cole Rhodes and Koda Schroepfer.
