She was predeceased by: her parents, George Oliver and Mindy Elizabeth Cuzzort Waller; her husband Grady Whisenant Sr.; her grandchildren, Mark Shaefer and Mitchell Wootten; her sisters, Leon O'Dell, Eva Avery, Nettie Reed and Annadell Tinker; and her son-in-law Phillip Wootten.
She is survived by: her children, Veneta Wootten, Geneda Shaefer (Wayne), Joan Spurgeon, Ronnie Whisenant (Lillie), Grady Whisenant Jr. and Danny Whisenant (Judith); and her sister Edna Jean Stevens. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
