With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Hicks Lacy of Flat Rock, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2025 at the age of 65. She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Lacy; and her grandparents, Hop, Josephine Thomas, Jerry and Frances Hicks.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jerry Hicks (Laura), Frances Posey (Jeff), James Thomas, Debbie Dunn and Glenda Smith; her nieces and nephews, Dixie Cooper (Nick), David Hicks (Sasha), J. J. Hicks (Courtney), Cloey Whitehead (Jake), Samantha Edmonson (Alec), Michelle Talley (Chris), Mark Posey and Matthew Posey; her great-nieces and great-nephews, McKenzie Chapman, Madison Chapman, Kelsey Cooper, Bailey Cooper, Jonathan Cooper, Layla Hicks, Delilah Hicks, Emory Hicks and Calvin Hicks; and her parents, Dixie Carl and Ruby Marie Thomas Hicks.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
