He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ceamon and Nancy Irene Young Ellis; his children, Jim Ellis and Betty Lynn Ellis; and his siblings, Joyce Ellis, Tefner Downer, Gladys Coulter, Roland, Harley, Cornelius and David Ellis.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, April Hall Carter (Ryan), Jeffery Hall, James Bradley Ellis (Rachell), Taylor Ellis (Carlos Chaparro), Candace Williams and Logan Wade Ellis; his great grandchildren, Audrie, Clara, Amellia, Lucy Jo, Ella Carter, Jacob, Jamie Brownfield, Taylor, Mela Chaparro, Sydney, Olivia Ellis, Boyd Williams, Bromleigh and Brady Hall; his sister Betty Loveless; and his daughter-in-law Angie Gilliam.
In-lieu-of flowers Mr. Ellis had requested that donations go to a program to feed children.
