He is survived by: his children, Chris Hicks and Jennifer Ussery (Lee); his sister Anita Hamrick; his close friend Martha Sue Wright; and his grandchildren, Tori Hicks, Ivey Hicks, Hyatt Hicks, Emilee Blanchette, Delilah Hughes and Brooklyn Hughes.
