It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Carl (Flat Rock, Alabama), who passed away on October 11, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward Gentle and Rosa Lee Wooden Gentle; his brother Billy Gentle; and his stepfather Hoyt Carr. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Gentle; his children, Lynn Ware (Chris), Reba Durham, Darren Gentle, Billy Gentle (Kristi) and Eddie Gentle (Lynn); and his siblings, Louise Cooley, Mary Lee Millican, Jo Ann Wooten (Frankie), Jean Hyatt, Janet Griffin (David) and John Gentle (Diane). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
