It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Monroe Hawes of Flat Rock, Alabama, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Hawes and Dora Vivian Meeker Hawes; his grandparents, Charlie, Mollie Meeker, Claude and Myrtle Hawes; and his sister Mitzi Hawes Allen.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Hawes (Tonya) and Dora Morgan (Jason); his grandchildren, Will, Jaxson, Jada, Brody, Eli, Beau and Raelynne; and his sisters, Deborah McAllister (Jimmie), Karen Barnett (Rusty) and Mollie Davis (Kenny Bellamy). He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
