It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bob Valero of Flat Rock, Alabama, born in Hoboken, New Jersey, who passed away on April 24, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Valero and Mildred Valero; and his grandchildren, Aubrey Julianne and Ava Julia Russell. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Valero; his daughters, Amber Joyce Russell (Jason) and Aimee Jo Cooley (Jason); his siblings, Judith Sayle (Bill), Bernice Alvarez (Mike), Marie Valero, Joanne Valero, Richard Valero (Gale), Kenneth Valero (Jane) and David Valero; his grandchildren, Jayden Cooley, Alyson Cooley, Loren Russell and Lawsen Russell; and his great grandchild Axel Miller. He is also survived by several extended family members and a host of friends.
Instead of flowers, those who wish to extend their sympathies are welcome to contribute to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta – Scottish Rite Hospital in memory of Aubrey.
