He was predeceased by: his mother Annie Maude Rushing Culbertson; his wife Norma Faye Culbertson; his daughter Vanessa Culbertson; and his siblings, Doris Baldwin, Katherine Mitchell, Bernice Shelnutt and Lonnie William Culbertson.
He is survived by: his son Gregg Culbertson (Tammy) of Roanoke. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
