It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loraine Meta Hyde of Five Points, Alabama, born in Tallassee, Alabama, who passed away on October 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Crumpton and Elouise Otwell Crumpton; her husband Edwin T. Hyde; and her brother Charlie Crumpton. She is survived by: her children, Dethayia Hyde of Roanoke and Luther Hyde (Norma) of Five Points; her sister Dena Sue Crumpton of Dothan; and her caregiver Jayanna Jones. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
