She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cleveland and Hudley Jane Osborne Mulkey; her husband Earnest Barnes; her daughter Dena Jane Barnes; and her siblings, Jean McDaniel, Virginia Brown, Lillian Yates, Leslie, Gervis, John and Wallace Mulkey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Nix (Harlin) of Five Points and Earnestine Weaver (Don) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Wanda Koch of Five Points, Rhonda Martin (Scott) of Five Points, Tim Weaver (Tara) of Troy and Kellie Kelley (Mark) of Elba; her great grandchildren, Allan Martin (Kaydra) and Ashley Harper (Dylan); her great great grandchild Asher Martin; and her stepgrandchildren, Carley Weaver and Kaylen Weaver.
