With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lavonia Anglin Montgomery of Five Points, Alabama, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2021 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Haynes Montgomery; and her parents, James Anglin and Margaret B. Kitchens. She is survived by: her children, Clarence Bailey of Five Points, AL, Don Bailey (Verna) of Griffin, Steve Bailey (Eileen) of Savannah, Brenda English (John) of Griffin, Frank Bailey (Leticia) of Senoia, Joe Montgomery of Five Points, AL and Jenny Morris (Scott) of Griffin; and her grandchildren, Mike Bailey (Julie), David Bailey, Blaine Jackson, Brent Bailey (Paige), Steven Bailey, Chris Theilmann (Tiffany), Bebe Goolsby (Brandon Henson), J. W. English, Chris Bailey (Denise), Wesley Morris and Joshua Morris. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the family respectively request those planning to attend the visitation or service to wear masks and practice socially distancing.
