It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joann McDougal of Five Points, Alabama, born in Rockmart, Georgia, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Marvin Womack and Annie Lou Crumpton Womack; her husband Robert McDougal; and her brother Butch Womack. She is survived by: her children, Debra Brumley of Cumming, Dondra (Butch Mooney), Diana (Barry Stephens) and Alan R. Dorsett of Five Points, Alabama; her siblings, Bazz Hutcheson of Villa Rica and Jimmy Womack (Lynn) of Oxford, Alabama.; and her grandchildren, Melissa Lauren Blauser, Ryan Joshua Brumley, David Mooney, Terina Sorrell, Tyler Mooney, Leslie Cowart, Caleb Miles Dorsett, Cameron Lee Carluccio, Douglas Bryant Bailey and Darick Lee Bailey. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren and twelve great great-grandchildren; as well as other family and friends.
