It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Baxter (Five Points, Alabama), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rovis Ray Baxter and Helen Kemp Baxter; and his siblings, Glen Baxter, Sandy Sharp and Linda Stiles.
He is survived by: his wife Paulette Baxter; his children, Mickey Shortt (April), Tonya Shortt and Christie Shortt; and his brother Steve Baxter. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
