He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Ward and Clemmie Cospy Lathem. He is survived by: his spouse Selena M. Ward; his children, Lesise Middleton of Hampton, GA, Wayne Ward (Geraldine), Kathy Velez (Elliott), McDonough and Norma Hicks (Frankie); and his sister Addie Lemeral (Billie). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
