As we bid Thomas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Thomas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his close friend Jean Lovette; and his brothers, Carlos Mitchell and Ronald Phillips. He is survived by: his brothers, Donald Phillips (Belinda) of Huntsville, AL, Douglas Mitchell (Ann) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Elliott Mitchell of Sarasota, FL; and his brother-in-law Clark West.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery (412 Temple Ave N, Fayette, AL 35555).
