It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Coats of Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2021, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Judy Taylor Wright; his brothers, Brian Wright and Justin Wright; his stepfather Billy Wright; and his grandparents, Nathan, Lois Taylor, Ollie and Motiegay Coats.
He is survived by: his father Charley Coats (Carol) of Fayette; his wife Barbara Coats of Tuscaloosa; his children, David Clements of Montana and Celine Coats Crenshaw of Florida; his aunt Shirley Taylor of Berry; and also Kim Allen of Fayette. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
