He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes Tidwell Johnson; his parents, Connie Ray and Tallie Mae Johnson; and his siblings, James R. Johnson, Junior Johnson, Dee Johnson, Cleareance Johnson, Wilma Feltman, Pauline Tidwell, Ruby Davis and Shirley Raines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Hodges (Charlie) of Fayette and Donna Shirley of Fayette; his sister Jewel Dean Phillips of Fayette; his granddaughter Anna Burgess (Byron); and his great grandchildren, Natalie Grace Burgess, Roman Brooks Burgess, Joey Burgess, Christopher Burgess and Haleigh Burks.
