She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Thompson; and her parents, John Wesley and Pearl Barrett. She is survived by: her children, John Thompson (Kim Boney) of Ward, AL, Jeff Thompson of Fayette, Vanessa Posey (Roy) of Gordo and Vonda Quiett (Steve) of Royce City, TX; her sister Jane Cannon of Fayette; her grandchildren, Craig Posey (Kim), Tyler Quiett (Sarah), Kyle Posey (Andrea), Kayla Pugh (Brad), Trevor Quiett (Ashlyn), Tanner Quiett and Therron Quiett; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Waylon, Connor, Charlie, Amelia and Collin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home Chapel (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
