She was predeceased by: her husband Buril Abernathy; her parents, Crate Clanton and Audie Clanton; and her brother Richard Clanton. She is survived by: her children, Brenda A. Burkhalter (James) of Fayette and Buril Dale Abernathy (Debbie) of Fayette; her sisters, Sue Clanton Brown of Northport and Martha Clanton Junkin (Raymond) of Northport; her grandchildren, David Burkhalter (Darlene) of Coker, Tanya B. Lister (Kenneth) of Fayette, Jonathan Burkhalter (Natalyn) of Fayette, Brandon Abernathy (Mindi) of Northport and Kristen Abernathy of Northport; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Lister of Fayette, Leeanna Burkhalter of Fayette, Mary Kensley Lister of Fayette, Brody and Tyson Abernathy of Northport. She is also survived by Her children, grandkids and great grandkids.
