She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Cleon C. Holliman and Pearl Williams Holliman; her husband Archie Wilson Newman; and her brothers, Theron Holliman (Kathryn) and Thelton Holliman (Vonceal).
She is survived by: her children, Rayford Wilson Newman (Laurie) of Fayette and Martha Ann Newman LaCroix of Hoover. She is also survived by two granddaughters and three great-grandchildren.
