It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurene Finley of Fayette, Alabama, born in Lake Wales, Florida, who passed away on March 31, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauren Fraser Thomas and Anita Ward Thomas; and her sisters, Elizabeth Thomas and Jennifer Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James G. Finley of Fayette; and her son Jim Finley, Jr. of Fayette.
