He was predeceased by: his parents, Lindsey Sanford and Vaudine Sanford; and his siblings, Aline Locke, James, Curtis, Eugene and Alford Sanford.
He is survived by: his wife Euline Sanford of Fayette; his brothers, Bill Sanford (Agnes) of Fayette and Leroy Sanford (Diane) of Fayette; and his stepchildren, Angie Wyatt (Glen) of Indiana, Dawn Smith of Fayette and DJ Kimbrell of Fayette. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
