He is survived by: his former wife Ina Joyce McCarver; his wife Joyce Pinegar (McCarver) of Fayette, Alabama; his children, Beth Fulmer (Johnny) of Northport, Alabama, Amanda Akins of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and John Pinegar of Fayette, Alabama.; his grandchildren, Morgan (Matt), Lauren, Mack and Walker; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Joyce. He is also survived by family, he leaves a legacy of extended family and multiple friends.
