She was predeceased by: her husband Clifton Goree; her parents, Huey Johnson and Susie Griffin Johnson; and her brothers, John William Johnson and Causie Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Goree (Barbara) of Northport and Jeffery Goree (Delana) of Fayette; and her siblings, Charles Johnson of Columbus, MS, Bernice Brown of Columbus, MS and Charlene Jones of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
