He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Oden and Flora Bell Oden; and his brother Marvin Oden. He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Oden of Fayette, AL; his sons, Chris Oden (April) of Fayette, AL and Tim Oden (Ashley) of Winfield, AL; and his grandchildren, Ryan Oden (Rose), Taylor Oden (McKayla), Deavon Oden (Emilee), Hayden McCarley, Kobe McCarley, Chasity Martin (Adam), Alaina Nix (Tom) and Tara Oden (Kevin).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Norwood-Wyatt Chapel (707 Temple Ave N, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
