He was predeceased by: his parents, Arline A. Stowe and Lona Bell Nalls Stowe; his sister Lou Ester Stowe; his sister-in-law Brenda McCollum Stowe; and his in-laws, Gerald Sr. and Lossie Wright.
He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis Marie Wright; his children, Stephanie Driver (Tim) of Fayette, AL, Kristin Stowe Darling of Fayette, AL and Justin Stowe of St. Petersburg, FL; his grandchildren, Zahria M. Shackelford (Tavis) of Fayette, AL, Zaylin M. Driver of Fayette, AL and Zandria M. Darling of Fayette, AL; his great grandchild Eli Jamari Shackelford of Fayette, AL; his siblings, John A. Stowe (Eva) and Jimmie Nell Stowe-Nolden of Fayette; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Cannon (Sebastian) of Houston, TX, Helen McLish (Alfred) of Fayette, AL, Gerald Wright (Loyda) of Daphne, AL and Henry Wright (Carrie) of Waxhaw, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
