She was predeceased by: her parents, George Thurman Walker and Faustine Plott Walker; and her sister Margene Walker. She is survived by: her husband Bob Newman; her sons, George Newman (Joy) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Mike Newman (Vicki); her sister Olivia Walker of Destin, FL; her grandchildren, April Coleman (Jeff), Blake Newman (Ashleigh), Michael Newman (Taylor), Winfield and Caroline Christian (Daniel); and her great grandchildren, Kate Coleman, Annabeth Coleman, Eli Newman and Rhett Newman.
