He is survived by: his wife Delois "Sally" Shaw Smith; his sons, Patrick Gerald Smith (Harriette), Myron G. Smith and Jack Alexander Smith; and his siblings, Donald M. Smith (Sandra-Kay "Sandy"), Ralph Smith (Virginia), Gary Michael "Mike" Smith and Barbara Williams.
