She was predeceased by: her parents, Zender Makemsom and Nancy Makemsom; her husband Malcolm Sapp; her daughter Deborah Fowler; and her grandson Timothy J. Sapp.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Sapp (Nancy) of Northport, Preston Sapp (Inez) of Fayette, Diane Earnest (Foster) of Berry, Patricia Kimbrell (Doug) of Oakman and Kathy Self (Charles) of Berry. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
