It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Wright of Fayette, Alabama, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. J. H. Thompson and Fannie V. Thompson; her husband Arthur Will Wright (Skin); and her siblings, Joseph, Pank Thompson, Lula Mary Garrett and Vandella Davis.

She is survived by: her children, James Wright (Ginger), Beverly McCollum Whitfield (Fred), Cedric Wright and Donna Wright; her grandchildren, LaSheka Everson (Keith), Ronnie McCollum (Miek), Kenderick Wilson (Paige), Alexandra Wright, Keyshawn, Victoria and Latricia Hughes; her great grandchildren, Lina, Eric and Bryce; her sisters, Dorothy Sheppard and Nancy Thompson; and her siblings-in-law, Wardell Wright, Sarah Mack Cannon, Betty Thompson and Gusta Wright. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and MANY "adopted" sisters, daughters, and sons.
