He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bowles and Maudie Moore Bowles; his wife Bessie "Bet" Bowles; his children, Phyllis DeSimone and Danny S. Bowles; his granddaughter Peyton Bowles; his son-in-law Butch Wilson; and his siblings, Geraldine Bowles, Dorothy Baker, Eva Stough and Theodore Bowles.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Bowles (Becky) of Echola and Diane B. Wilson of Fayette; and his sister Kay Roby (Roland) of Eldridge. He is also survived by five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
