He is survived by: his grandson David D. Lahman III (Destanie) of Mobile, AL; his siblings, Gene Lahman (Nancy) of Winter Haven, FL and Mary Lee of Virginia Beach, VA; and his great grandchildren, Alexander Lahman, David Delano Lahman IV and Isaac Gray. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
