She was predeceased by: her parents, Esker M. Hindman and Mattie Lou Waldrop Hindman; her former husband Reubin Odeal Ary; her son John Mitchell Ary; and her siblings, Erskin Hindman, Hulon Hindman, Ruell Hindman, Charlotte Hindman Hallmark and Genna Hindman Lovelace.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Foster of Fayette; her children, Max Ary (Sandy) of Fayette, Gerald Ary of Amory, MS, Elma Lou Collins (Tommy) of Fayette and Deanna Colbert (Bill) of Villa Rica, GA; and her siblings, Lewis Hindman (Jane) of Fayette, Eva Yerby of Florida and Martha Jones of Northport. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
