He was predeceased by: his parents, Clester Burns and Amy Burns; his brother Harold Burns (Lula); and his nephew Doug Burns. He is survived by: his wife Mammie Lou Burns; and his children, Teresa Guyton, Miranda Stede, Charles Dwight Burns and Randy Burns (Dana). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
