She was predeceased by: her parents, Newbern Watson and Mauline Watson; and her siblings, Gary Watson, Gather Watson and Mary Frances Taylor.

She is survived by: her husband Eddie Hiram Tarwater (Fayette); her children, Dee Tarwater Greene (Fayette), Tina Tarwater Aaron (Fayette) and Randal Scott Tarwater (Fayette); her siblings, Jewel Watson Morris (Orange Beach) and Hansel "Hanky" Watson (Tuscaloosa); and her grandchildren, Haley Elizabeth Greene (Nashville), Anna Marie Greene (Tuscaloosa), Bailey Rae Aaron (Tuscaloosa), Carson Scott Tarwater (Fayette), William Lane Aaron (Fayette), Alex Blake Tarwater (Fayette) and Karleigh Grace Tarwater (Fayette).

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church "Together We Build" project.
