It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashley McCaleb of Fayette, Alabama, who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ashley leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ashley may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father Gary Mabury; her stepfather Jeff Crowe; and her mother-in-law Laeuna McCaleb. She is survived by: her husband Greg McCaleb of Fayette; her mother Lana Crowe of Fayette; her children, Daniel Doran of Fayette, Jackson Doran of South Carolina, Presley McCaleb of Fayette and Brook McCaleb of Winfield; and her brother Shane Mabury of Tuscaloosa.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Nelson Funeral Home (3659 AL-171, Fayette, AL 35555). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
