Dorothy Harms Benner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Harms Benner of Faunsdale, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Harms and Gladys Harms; her former husband Leon Benner; her husband Dick Johnson; her children, Doug (Barbara), Greg (Vicki), Tammy (James Diller) and Carolyn (Andrew Peters); and her sisters, Ruth Benner and Thelma (Gerald Boeckner). She was also cherished by eighteen grandchildren, sixty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cedarcrest Mennonite Memorial Fund.
