He was predeceased by: his wife Lottie Mae; his parents, William Amel and Nora Wilhite Drake; and his siblings, Euel Drake, Wallace Drake, Naomi Cartledge, Frances Carlton and Marie Pattillo.

He is survived by: his sons, Roger Drake (Paula) of Franklin, TN, Randy Drake (Cherri) of Cullman, AL, Vann Drake (Connie) of Tulsa, OK, Butch Drake of Tulsa, OK, Jeff Drake (Tina) of Denver, CO, John Drake (Sharon) of Vinemont, AL, Paul Drake of Tulsa, OK and Eric Drake of Tulsa, OK; and his brother Charles Drake (Ellen) of Vinemont, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
