She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Kelso; her son Dennis Kelso; her son-in-law Curtis Hopper; her parents, Newt Watwood and Lucy Higgins Watwood; and her grandsons, Paul Collins and Eric Brumley.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Kelso (Anita), Martha Hale, Nina Hopper and Donna Glenn (Bruce). She is also survived by Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
