She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank Wood Fitzgerald and Bertie Cornelia Almon Fitzgerald; her husband Emmett O. Holmes; her son Joey Holmes; her siblings, Frank Almon Fitzgerald, Robert Henry Fitzgerald, Jesse Ashton Fitzgerald, Patrick Dale Fitzgerald, Lucy Laney, Frances Laney and Bertie Ferrell; her children, Allen Holmes (Jan), Gerry Holmes (Linda), Greg Holmes (Pam), Linda Alldredge (Dwight) and Debbie Cumings; her daughter-in-law Lasanna Holmes; and her sister Leah Oakley. She was also cherished by 17 Grandchildren, 24 Great-Grandchildren and 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren.
