He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Wilburn Holmes and Bertha Ann Derrick Holmes; and his siblings, Leon Holmes, Thurman Holmes and Lorene Anders.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Holmes; and his children, Carol Kindrix (Michael) of Oak Grove, LA and Larry Holmes (Linda). He is also survived by One Grandchild Two Great Grandchildren One Great Great Grandchild.
